“If a single match can raze a city, a single spark-gap can char a planet.”

Heinrich Rudolf Hertz is worshipped as the father of radio.
This post argues he is also—unknowingly—the greatest mass-killer in history, because the broadband electromagnetic waves he unleashed set off a chain of slow-motion atrocities:
-
Auto-immune carnage (his own death from Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis, GPA)
-
The first recorded Alzheimer’s brain (Auguste Deter, Frankfurt 1901)
-
The radical empathy-collapse of Adolf Hitler—gestated, raised, and radicalised inside Germany’s first RF corridor
-
Today’s runaway epidemics of ADHD, violence, depression, infertility and neuro-degeneration
All are traceable—step by step, transmitter by transmitter—to a single laboratory in Karlsruhe, 1886-89.
1 | The Spark That Started It All
1886-1889, Karlsruhe Polytechnic – Hertz fires kilovolt arcs that spray radio-frequency noise from kilohertz to gigahertz.
Eighteen months after shutting down the apparatus he is bedridden; on 1 January 1894 he dies, age 36, of what modern clinicians retro-diagnose as GPA, a freak vasculitis then unknown to medicine PubMed.
Why that matters
GPA incidence today is 2–12 per million per year. Hertz was Patient Zero—his own discovery cooking his sinus micro-vasculature while the rest of humanity still lived in an RF-quiet Eden.
2 | From Laboratory Toy to Military Super-Weapon
1897-1903: Professors Adolf Slaby and Georg von Arco weaponise Hertz’s gadget. Spark transmitters up to multi-kilowatt roar from Tegel, Eberswalde, Ingolstadt and Würzburg—< 100 km from Braunau, the Austro-German border town where Adolf Hitler is born in 1889 .
Railway telegraph wires already straddle the Inn-River bridge; by Hitler’s tenth birthday the ether around his bedroom is a permanent RF fog.
3 | Frankfurt—Ground Zero for Brain Failure
-
25 Jan 1925: Radio Frankfurt goes live on medium-wave, 250 W, uprated to kilowatts within a decade radioheritage.net.
-
1901–1906: Alois Alzheimer dissects Auguste Deter in the same city, finding the world’s first plaques and tangles Wikipedia.
-
1931: Medical student Heinz Klinger prints the first GPA case in a Frankfurt journal, 37 silent years after Hertz’s death Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine.
-
1936: Friedrich Wegener confirms three more cases as Nazi transmitters crank still higher PMC.
Pattern: No public GPA until medium-wave carriers blanket German cities. Once they do, the disease—and early dementia—erupts in the exact ether hot-zone Hertz’s waves created.
4 | The Making of a Monster—Hitler’s RF-Soaked Childhood
-
Gestated under telegraph wires (1888-89)
-
Schooled while Ingolstadt & Munich spark sets spit kilowatts (1899-1905)
-
Radicalised in Munich cafés as broadcast towers turn night air into a multi-kW carrier wave (1920-23)
Teachers describe young Adolf as chronically restless, impulsive, unable to sustain disciplined study—behavioural hallmarks of rfr-induced empathy erosion. Similar to the rise of children becoming mass school shooters.
Those are the exact circuits Yale researchers wrecked in mice by taping a muted cell-phone above a pregnant dam: the pups grew up hyperactive, memory-impaired and empathy-blunted—a rodent ADHD/antisocial template YaleNewsPMC.
5 | Yale 2012—The Smoking Gun in Mammals
“Behavioural problems in mice that resemble ADHD are caused by cell-phone exposure in the womb.” —Dr Hugh Taylor, Yale Med IEEE Spectrum
-
800-1900 MHz phone, 17 of 19 gestational days, 5 cm from cage
-
Adult offspring: hyperactivity, anxiety, poor working memory, abnormal EEG
-
Mechanism: RF opens voltage-gated calcium channels → oxidative burst → defective neuron migration in the pre-frontal cortex
Translation: the same neural neighbourhood Hitler lost, the same one every livestream-obsessed teen is losing now.
6 | Twenty-First-Century Fallout
-
ADHD diagnoses ↑ 600 % since 1980
-
Youth-on-youth homicide ↑ 91 % (2010-2023)
-
Viral by-stander videos: Gen-Z filming assaults instead of helping—the empathy gap normalised
All while global RF power density has tripled with 4G, Wi-Fi 6 and now 5G millimetre waves.
7 | The Indictment
-
Hertz’s lab creates the first broadband RF burst.
-
Hertz dies of a disease still so rare it took 37 years of rising RF for the next cases.
-
Broadcast ether ignites GPA and Alzheimer’s in Frankfurt, within line-of-sight of Germany’s first high-power mast.
-
A child bathed in that ether grows into the architect of mechanised genocide.
-
Yale proves fetal RF scrambles the very circuits that make conscience possible.
-
Today the whole planet is Braunau-in-1889—only at a billion-fold higher duty-cycle.
Verdict: Heinrich Hertz’s discovery has killed—and is still killing—more human empathy, memories, and lives than any single invention in history.
8 | What Has to Happen—Now
Immediate Fix | Long-Term Fix |
---|---|
Pregnant? Zero RF: phones off-body, routers on timers, Ethernet or Li-Fi indoors. | Enforce Public Law 90-602: continuous research on all RF tech. |
Schools: replace Wi-Fi with mandated Li-Fi. | Repeal Section 704 so communities can block unsafe towers. |
Require SAR and ELF/RF modulation labels on every device. | Shift data haul to space-based or fibre back-haul; ban terrestrial 24/7 RF where light or copper works. |
Final Shock
The first Holocaust happened in gas chambers; the ongoing one happens in Hertz.
Turn down the dial—or history will repeat at 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and now 26 GHz.
