Why This Matters:

Petition 2: Repeal Section 704—Restore Our Rights!
The Problem with Section 704:
Section 704 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 prohibits communities from opposing wireless tower placements based on health or environmental concerns—no matter how valid. This law blatantly violates our constitutional right to free speech and the ability to protect our families and communities from well-documented RF radiation risks.
Because of this law, telecom companies can install cell towers dangerously close to homes, schools, and hospitals, unchecked by community concerns and immune from accountability.
Our Goal:
Repealing Section 704 restores community rights, allowing local voices to challenge irresponsible wireless infrastructure placement. It returns decision-making power to the people, prioritizing safety, transparency, and scientific accountability above corporate profits.
