The study, titled ” Ethical Principles in Medicine are Violated – A Woman aged 82 years with Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity since Almost Four Decades Developed the Microwave Syndrome after Installation of 5G Base Stations in her Living Vicinity” authored by Lennart Hardell and Mona Nilsson, presents a case of an 82-year-old woman who developed severe health issues following the installation of 5G base stations near her residence. She had a long history of electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), and the onset of the 5G technology exacerbated her symptoms, including fatigue, dizziness, and light sensitivity, which align with the microwave syndrome. The study also highlights the ethical implications of deploying 5G technology without adequately considering its potential health impacts, especially on individuals with EHS. It emphasizes the need for revising current safety standards for RF radiation exposure and adopting ethical principles in the implementation of such technologies.
