Abstract

Overview

This presentation provides an overview of the complex dependence of microwave (MW) effects from mobile communication on various physical and biological variables, which are potentially critical in understanding inconsistences in published data.

Key Variables and Health Concerns

  • Carrier Frequency: The study notes dependencies on variables such as carrier frequency, polarization, modulation, and more.
  • Biological Factors: Genotype, physiological traits, and cell density during exposure play a role.
  • 5G Communication: Emphasizes significant public concern about biological and health effects due to frequencies used in 5G technology.

Main Findings

Exposure to microwaves at very low intensities can still affect biological systems under specific conditions. This includes positive and negative effects dependent on exposure parameters, and inhibition of DNA damage repair induced by ionizing radiation.

Health Implications of 5G

5G technology, utilizing microwaves of extremely high frequencies (millimeter waves, MMW), poses potential risks due to lack of human adaptation to MMW, highlighted by their almost complete absorption in the atmosphere.

Conclusion

There is a need for extensive research into chronic exposure effects of 5G signals, given their fundamental role in body regulation and the significant potential for health impacts. Implementation of 5G may be premature without further studies ensuring safety.
