Evidence for a health risk by RF on humans living around mobile phone base stations
Abstract
Overview
The comprehensive review aims to update the scientific community on the effects of mobile phone base station antennas on human health. This thorough examination sifts through studies in urban settings where antennas are positioned near residential areas.
Findings
- Radiofrequency Sickness (RS): A condition marked by symptoms including headaches, sleep disturbances, and cognitive disruptions. 73.9% of studies observed these effects.
- Cancer (C): An increase in cancer incidence was noted in 76.9% of the studies focusing on areas near RF emitting antennas.
- Changes in Biochemical Parameters (CBP): Shifts in biochemical markers were reported in 75% of the observations.
Additional evidence from non-inclusive studies as well as similar findings from other RF sources including radar and television antennas further solidify these conclusions. Animal studies near these antennas which are not susceptible to placebo show comparable effects, enhancing the validity of the findings.
Conclusion
This cumulative data roundly points to significant health risks associated with living near base station antennas, manifesting as radiofrequency sickness, biochemical alterations, and increased cancer rates. Moreover, existing guidelines by several organizations fail to protect against these non-thermal, long-term exposure risks.
