Abstract

Overview

The study comprehensively investigates the link between radiofrequency-electromagnetic radiation (RF-EMR) from cell phone use and the risk of developing brain tumors. Multiple systematic reviews and meta-analyses were conducted to draw this correlation.

Findings

  • Evidence demonstrates a significant increase in brain tumor risks, particularly on the side of the head where cell phones are typically held.
  • This correlation is more prominent in scenarios of heavy, long-term cell phone use.

Conclusion

Contrary to recent claims by WHO reviews, the gathered meta-analytic results indicate a discernible risk association between extended exposure to RF-EMR from cell phones and the incidence of brain tumors, challenging previous assertions of no significant links.
