Abstract

Overview

This work serves as a commentary on the study by Rabiei et al. regarding the health impacts of mobile cellular data and Wi-Fi usage.

Findings

The authors express agreement with Rabiei et al. on the need for additional extensive studies on this topic due to:

  • The significant increase in wireless communications over the past 25 years.
  • The ongoing rollout of 5G technologies that require detailed investigations to confirm their safety, especially for vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly.

Conclusion

It is highlighted that conducting thorough research and risk assessments is critical before introducing new telecommunication technologies.
