Overview

This integrative review addresses the role of grounding or earthing in improving electromagnetic hygiene. It explores various studies on how being in direct contact with the Earth affects biological performance and provides potential health benefits.

Findings

• Examines the impact of grounding on non-communicable diseases treatment.
• Discusses the complications and confounders in existing biological grounding initiatives.
• Proposes the expansion of electromagnetic hygiene measures to potentially reduce the spread of communicable diseases and various other health issues, including neurodegenerative diseases and general mortality.
