Ethical sourcing should not stop at food. Brands that market mobile service to families and kids should also source connectivity ethically—by prioritizing child-first exposure reduction, transparent risk communication, and safer architectures such as Li-Fi where feasible.

Ethical Connectivity Pledge

Purpose. We recognize that connectivity is a developmental environment. Brands that provide wireless services—especially to children and families—carry responsibilities beyond compliance with outdated standards.

By signing, we publicly commit to:

  • Child-First Design: Treat children as a distinct exposure group and prioritize their long-term well-being in product, marketing, and deployment decisions.
  • Science Over Regulatory Lag: Act on credible evidence even when standards have not kept pace, acknowledging the gap between scientific findings and regulatory delay.
  • Transparency: Provide practical exposure-reduction guidance; avoid “proven safe for kids” claims; disclose when service relies on legacy microwave-based infrastructure.
  • Safer Architectures: Where feasible—especially indoors and in child-focused environments—pilot and support lower-exposure connectivity paths such as Li-Fi and hybrid architectures that reduce cumulative RF load.
  • Refusal to Scale Hidden Harm: When children are involved, we do not require certainty beyond doubt to take protective action; precaution is responsibility.
  • Support Independent Research: Encourage transparent, continuous evaluation of exposure impacts and resist interference with scientific inquiry.
  • Ethical Leadership: Use cultural influence to raise standards—choosing safer design decisions when available rather than waiting for broken systems to fix themselves.

Declaration. Ethical sourcing does not end with food, labor, or materials. Connectivity itself must be ethically sourced. When safer architectures exist, choosing them is a leadership decision.

Note: This pledge is a precautionary commitment. It does not claim to diagnose any individual or prove causation for any specific condition in any specific person.
