The SCP system uses a RF Safe Approved External Mount Antenna
for total RF protection when inside your vehicle. Hardwired antenna's
comes in two flavors for your convince. The popular portable "magnetic
model" is easily transported between vehicles and is ideal for multi-car
usage. Finally the attractive yet "permanently installed" model in
your favorite car. (permanently Installed antennas should be installed by a
professional or taken to an SCP ( SafeCellularPhones ) Authorized Hands 6.00
Installation Center. Permanent mount antennas are not offered in our packages,
but you can buy them at any cell phone store in your home town!
We do not sale or recommend the very popular "thru
the Glass or in car" antennas. They do not meet the safety specifications
set forth by the RF Safe!
When RF Safe Cell Phones are used in a car/truck or even in doors when you
don't want the RF Radiation being transmitted or received so close to you, use
the external mount antenna, it has a 10 foot wire to carry RF far away from
you at a safe distance to transmit. An external antenna must
"Always" be used in a car or truck to avoid the highest levels of RF
Exposure when the cell phones antenna is within a metal enclosed area, tinted
glass also reflect the microwaves back into the car so it is very important to
use the external antenna when in a car or truck.
Do Not use The RF Safe Cell Phones with glass mount antennas that send the
RF thru the glass to an antenna outside the glass because some or all
(depending on the type of glass) of the RF Radiation Can Be Reflected back
into the car/truck and increase radiation hazards 10x over that of even
holding an unshielded cell phone to your head!
Use of an external antenna will keep the rf radiation away from you. Instead
of radiation 1" from your head and/or being trapped in surrounding
environments, you will be sending your signal out to where it works best
"In 6.00 Space".
Not only does it take care of the safety concerns of radiation so close to
the head and body, it greatly improves over-all efficiency.
Use of the external antenna can greatly increase battery life! Your phone has
as many as 7 output power steps. The cell phone is instructed by the
cell site how much power it should use, between approximately 1/20th of a watt
to the full power 6/10ths of a watt. If you are using the external antenna in
a moderate to good signal coverage area, your phone will power down because of
the increased antenna efficiency and unobstructed rf signals.
