Red phone: Are wireless phones dangerous?

Cell phone radiation concern
I see everybody driving around with their wireless phones glued to their ears. That puts the antennae right next to their brains, and these things radiate - like I know they do - are we going to look at a generation of tumors and brain cancer in the next 10 to 15 years? Some people live with these phones all day long next to their head. I've been in the business for many years, and when I set these phones up I've had to measure the antennae radiation.
Red Phone: In repeated reports, the major wireless carriers insist there is no danger from cell phone radiation. Then again, CEOs from the major tobacco companies made sworn testimony before Congress that smoking is not addicting.
There have been a few studies published this year that address the situation. Most notably, a study put out by Dr Vini Khurana, a top neurosurgeon who deals with Cerebrovascular and Complex Tumor surgery.
His study draws on growing evidence that using handsets for 10 years (cancers take at least a decade to develop) or more can double the risk of brain cancer. Of course, the Mobile Operators Association dismissed Khurana's study. They believe he "does not present a balanced analysis" of the published science, and "reaches opposite conclusions to the WHO and more than 30 other independent expert scientific reviews." Keep in mind caller that these results are only after heavy use and constant exposure over an extended period of time, so there's no reason to panic. In the meantime, keep the phone calls short, concise, and to the point. Maybe you'll even save some minutes.
